Jenna is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years of experience in providing Individual, Family, and Couples Therapy. She has a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Bethel University and a Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from Bethel Seminary. She is a Level 2 trained Internal Family Systems (IFS) professional and is also trained in Brainspotting (BSP).
Jenna has extensive experience working with therapists looking for support in doing their own work and with individuals and families who are affected by challenges and trauma. She utilizes a holistic approach to therapy combining IFS, BSP, and other healing modalities for a perspective that incorporates mind, body, and soul care.
Another main area of focus in Jenna’s practice is performance and sports psychology. In this she works to help professionals, leaders, teachers, athletes, and coaches consider how emotional, physical, and mental aspects are dependent on each other to achieve optimal performance in whatever discipline is being pursued.
Jenna's goal in therapy is to create a relationship where she can help you learn more about yourself and the Self inside all of us that is calm, clear, curious, and connected. In the process you will work together to identify and build trust and connection to parts of you that exist in your life that impact your overall functioning. Work will center on helping identify present challenges and blocks, help you reach your optimal performance goals, and facilitate healing and wholeness that is Self-led and unique to you.
Jenna also provides organizational and leadership consultation services focused on creating and enhancing healthy professional, church, school, and athletic organizations. Her work here is influenced by many years holding middle and upper-level leadership roles. Jenna integrates an IFS and BSP lens in all consultation work which offers a unique perspective into identifying potential challenges present in an organization and for team members, as well as insight into effectively addressing such challenges. This approach is tailored specifically to what your organization goals are and can include one-on-one, small group, and/or large group consultation and training. There is special attention placed here on overall care and development for the organization's leadership and team members.
